About Paul

Paul has been working in the fitness industry for the past 6 years. He is a qualified vet. Subsequent to his veterinary degree, he completed a Masters degree in Animal Health and later a Masters in Computing. He obtained distinctions in both of these, and also won the prize on both occasions for the student obtaining best overall marks. Paul is not taking things easy and is now into the second semester of his third Masters! An MSc in Human Nutrition at the University of Ulster, Coleraine.

Recently Paul commenced work as a part-time tutor at Belfast Metropolitan College. He is tutoring students in fitness instructing and personal training.

Paul started his veterinary career working with dogs and cats. Don’t ask him about the owner who rang him one evening to say his dog had sat on a carrot!

After working with small animals he then worked for the government dealing with the control of animal diseases such as Mad Cow Disease (BSE), Salmonella in chickens and TB in cattle. Come the 90s Paul left the veterinary profession. In the government run Register of Exercise Professionals he is listed as an Advanced Instructor and Personal Trainer. He holds numerous fitness qualifications. You will find Paul teaching in many of the leading health clubs in Belfast such as JJB, La Fitness, and Queens PEC teaching BODYPUMP™, BODYCOMBAT ™ and Pilates.
